Your Skills and Knowledge:

o Fluent English is mandatory
o Familiar with the Adobe Suite, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop in particular
o Ability to cut and craft impactful and engaging content
o Highly organized with an ability to work independently and coordinate projects/assets virtually
o Knowledgeable in social media video best practices
o Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
o Ability to multitask, work independently and deal with ambiguity
o Comfortable in a multinational environment

Your Day-To-Day:


o You will assist with video and photo content for social media
o You will utilize Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop to create content
o You will multitask and manage multiple projects at once
o You will storyboard and script video content
o You will manage, organize and archive video, photo, and graphic files
o You will collect and review video analytics to determine what is and is not performing well
o You will experiment with video styles and formats to create engaging content
o You will use feedback to iterate on content selection, sourcing, and editing techniques

PTC Academic offerings prepare students to design, manufacture, operate, and service things for an increasingly smart, connected world.

The Academic team at PTC is a mix of designers, creators, engineers and educators exploring modern EdTech solutions. As the Academic Video Editing intern, you will work closely with the Marketing Group Lead and larger academic team to identify and scope out projects focused on helping build the PTC Academic brand globally. Our team is highly collaborative, and you will work regularly with members of the team to grow and develop your skills.


Your Impact:

At PTC, we believe our interns are vital to the success of the academic program, and the work our interns are tasked with reflects this belief. The Video Editing Intern is responsible for helping the Marketing team bring the PTC Academic brand to life, creating impactful customer-facing marketing materials, social media content and providing research for digital media trends. You will be involved in the postproduction process to create compelling stories through video and photo which includes cutting, colouring, animating, designing, scripting, archiving media, researching trends, reviewing video analytics and more.

Your focus on video editing means you will create content for all parts of our academic program and business. Your work as a Video Editing intern will be equal parts rewarding and challenging.
