    Requirements

    Education and Experience Required

    BA/MA in statistics or economics with a focus on econometrics
    2+ years developing econometrics models for driving business decisions

    Knowledge and Skills

    Advanced analytical skills including time-series analysis, multi-variate econometric models, and machine learning
    Strong background in programming with statistical tools (R, STATA, Python, etc.) and familiarity with SQL is a plus
    High level of skill in developing econometric models to address esoteric business needs
    Deep knowledge of fundamental drivers of consumer and commercial IT spending
    Experience in collaboration with business partners ranging from individual contributors to executives
    Excellent problem solving abilities
    Excellent written/oral communications
    Experience in presenting complex topics to a senior model developer and directors
    Ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams
    Very strong consensus-building and conflict-resolution skills
    High degree of initiative, energy and positive attitude

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    Serve as content expert on quantitative model development
    Ensure timely development of models that meets the standards of best practice in modelling
    Develop best in class models that achieve maximum accuracy
    Defend models in the model validation committee
    Support business partners in understanding model methodologies and forecasts
    Write model documentation
    Maintain and automate models
    Provide technical expertise on models when needed
    Work closely with our database development team to ensure the continued build out of our data assets
