Sr. Data Engineer

We are looking for strong software engineers that love to work with data and data infrastructure. This is not a data scientist or machine learning engineer position.



Experience in web-scale data / software engineering with expertise in Java, Scala, Python or similar programming languages with min 5 years in production.
Have the ability to crystalize vague requirements into concrete implementations
Experience with Spark, Hive, Druid, Superset, and python
Experience with dataware design and expert in SQL
Passion for coding
Ability to identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologies
Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
Strong adherent of writing both unit tests and integration tests
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Develop, design, build and launch robust and reliable pipelines to move large-scale data
Build intelligent data products to support high-availability and reliability of the data platform
Improve the batch processing and data pipeline performance
