Senior Firmware QA Engineer

5+ years of technical work experience in QA function, ideally for portable consumer electronics products.
Experience leading onsite QA team; experience with offsite QA teams would be a bonus.
BS in Computer Science or related field.
Deep understanding of software/hardware release cycle.
Must be a proactive self starter with good problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and conduct meetings, gather status, and make decisions.
Ability to manage testing strategy dynamically by working with cross-functional teams to understand areas of focus.
Ability to assess current test structure and identify areas that can be automated to increase testing efficiency.
Passion for building and shipping AWESOME products!
Experience with the following are a plus:
Familiarity with JIRA and TestRail.
Worked with camera devices or similar.
Experience in developing and/or executing automation test scripts.

Participate in full firmware development cycle, including partnering with project stakeholders to ensure the requirement testability and effective test planning.
Participate in all aspects of testing: including sanity, functional, integration, regression and performance testing.
Define, develop and implement quality assurance best practices and procedures.
Enhance comprehensive test coverage through test case review and failure analysis.
Develop, implement and maintain quality metrics.
