    Requirements

    2-5 years previous experience in a complex, fast paced environment
    Bachelors degree
    Knowledge of HR practices and principles in Romania, UK and/or Germany
    Essential technical skills: HRIS (preferably Workday), Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    Ability to gracefully handle competing priorities simultaneously
    Maniacal attention to detail and proven ability to create simple, sustainable and organized processes
    Outstanding follow-through, self-directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
    Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor with a high regard for confidentiality
    Excellent writing skills and ability to make updates and changes as needed
    Strong time management skills and ability to make judgment calls
    Work well in a highly collaborative environment and open to give and receive feedback
    Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality

    Responsibilities

    The Specialist, People Operations provides support and coordination of the day-to-day operations of the People Team department in Romania, UK and Germany. They are the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding a range of People Team programs and initiatives including Workday, LD, time off, benefits, on-boarding, and employment policies.



    The Specialist, People Operations is highly engaged and must provide superior internal and external customer service, produce quality work, and maintain an atmosphere of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The Specialist, People Operations is able to handle on-going operational needs and do a deep dive into specialized projects. You will be responsible for People Operations initiatives to address organizational needs, and documentation of relevant guidelines for the team and broader organization.



    New Hires On-boarding

    Work cross functionally with recruiting, IT, WPS, payroll, and hiring managers to ensure the successful onboarding of new employees in Romania, UK, and Germany
    Communicate with new hires and managers about the new hire process
    Train new hires and current employees in new systems
    Participate in weekly onboarding events


    General HR

    Resolve routine HR requests and escalate as needed
    Prepare documents for new hires
    Prepare termination paperwork and work with HR Business Partners for successful off-boarding
    Handle verification of employment requests
    Assist in development and documentation of processes, procedures, and policies
    Permanently on-point with GoPro brand and messaging
    Act as a role model on employee engagement and roll out of company and companywide initiatives.
    Create POs, submit invoices, and obtain contract approvals through Finance and Legal systems
    Create, audit and submit monthly payroll files. Work with local payroll providers in each location
    Coordinate and assist with company-wide Operations programs and special projects
    Manage the employee files and file storage


    HRIS - Workday

    Conduct data entry for new hires
    Process employee status changes including org changes, manager changes, salary changes, transfers, promotions, terminations, and leave of absence
    1st Tier Benefits administration
    Work with the HRIS Administrator to audit data, pull reports and load data
    Assist with internal audits to ensure compliance


    Benefits and Occupational Health

    Partner with the benefits brokers and payroll team to update employee information and ensure all benefits transactions are processed accurately
    Engage with local benefits and occupational health vendors to update relevant employee information
    Maintain compliance with local occupational health requirements
