Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology & Networking, or IT
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Independent worker – requires low level of supervision
• Fluent spoken and written English language skills
• All applicants applying for EU based job openings must be authorized to work in the EU
• Work location is Bucharest
• Willingness to travel (required) up to 20%
• 2-3 years working with AWS/Azure, Linux and Windows platforms
• Intermediate networking and DNS experience
• Basic knowledge of databases
• Experience installing OS and system
• Understanding of Active Directory/Microsoft Exchange as well as Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience working and troubleshooting webservers such as IIS and Apache
• AWS or Azure certification is a plus
• Experience with any of the following languages: C#, .Net, Java, Python, JSP, XML, SQL is a plus
• Versatility, flexibility and proactivity when resolving technical issues and dealing with ambiguity
• Personal commitment to quality and on-schedule delivery; proven ability to establish and meet milestones and deadlines
• Customer-focused to understand and appropriately respond to customers’ business needs
• Ability to work in conjunction with other internal and external teams to ensure all systems work efficiently
• Ability to present information in a user-friendly language, keen attention to detail, exceptional customer service orientation
• Monitor and troubleshoot the systems
• Identify, analyze and prevent performance and security issues
• Setup, troubleshoot, migrate and terminate Cloud instances (AWS/Azure)
• User configuration for OS and Cloud accounts
• Provision new environments per Kalypso standards and vendor documentation
• Apply OS and system software updates
• Application troubleshooting, upgrade and patches installations, user provisioning and report analysis
• Coordinate with our clients’ internal Triage Team as well as Kalypso’s technical resources to evaluate incoming alerts, identify suspicious events and determine an action plan
You will be dedicated to maintaining and optimizing the health of the application on production environments.
You will support both production and non-production environments for internal and client-facing projects by applying techniques to identify, analyze, prevent and resolve challenging problems using Windows, Unix/Linux and Cloud tools.
The support will be provided via email, phone, ticket systems or remote tools.
