Middle - Senior Front-end Developer

ALTEN Romania, part of the international ALTEN Group - with a unique position as Leader in IT & Engineering Consulting, provides support for its clients’ development strategies in the fields of innovation, R&D and IT systems since 1996. The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

Technical competences:

- Strong knowledge of React
- Experience using Node.js
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Experience with popular React.js workflows
- Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
- Experience using tools like issue trackers (Jira) and version control software (Git, SVN);
- Familiarity with functional programming, TDD, DDD, microservices architecture, CQRSES patterns will be an advantage.

Would be a plus:

- Previous experience using Type Script Flow
- Strong MySQLDynamoDB skills is a plus, as well as familiarity with relational databases in general
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Languages:

- Good English, both written and spoken is a must
