Senior Formwork Engineer

In order to achieve the best results in this position, the desired skills and experience are the following:
Minimum 5 years proven experience in a similar role
Minimum 3 years proven experience in formwork engineering
Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Internet)
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD (3D advantage)
Solid static and material resistance knowledge
Static Calculation programs knowledge - RSTAB, SAP, ETABS, ROBOT
Project management skills
Offers and calculation knowledge
Know-how in metalwood structures engineering
Good command of English
Good communication skills
Analytical, innovative thinking

Represents Doka within national complex projects;
Manages special projects in collaboration with Amstetten Engineering Department;
Contact person for the Static Department;
Corresponds with Amstetten Static Department (mailbox Static) regarding static issues;
Contact person for the technicians regarding static calculation questions and information transfer between technicians and Static Department;
Collaboration with the Sales Department in order to identify and establish the theme of the project accordingly to the clients needs;
Alignment with the client and the Sales Department regarding the offers detail level;
Actively handles general informative and specific price offers according to beneficiarys projects, following the related national and international guidelines;
Helps customers in choosing the best solutions by offering technical advice;
Contributes to his colleagues technical training (Logistics and Commercial Departments), according to his availability and with the proper support;
Following the Sales Departments demands, prepares the technical specifications, adapting them to the available stocks;
Technical solutions will mandatory include safety and security equipment and components;
Regular visits on sites in order to identify, communicate and implement optimization measures;
Static Key User function;
Project Verifier function within the Engineering Department, following the 4 eyes principle;
Delivers technical projects correctly, on time and according to the necessary established resources;
Offers support and advice at the demand of the General Manager.
