Degree (or equivalent) in a science related subject.
Have an excellent understanding of general Informatics Products, their various capabilities and underlying technologies.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
Proven ability to work independently.
Proven ability to work within a multi-functional team

Define processes and tools for the translation of user requirements into stakeholder facing story-boards and development facing technical analyses.
Provide story-boards, wire-frames and other artefacts defined in the process to help capture and evolve work-flows that have been described in user requirements.
Work with Product Management to discover, clarify and evolve user-requirements and collaborate
Work with Product Management during product development to ensure that feedback is incorporated into requirements.
Provide technical analysis and product requirements to the development organization.
Provide the liaison between the Marketing Business units, technology teams and Service Support teams.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision incorporating usability and performance needs.
Understand software industry best practice for the capture of user requirements and the translation of these into product requirements.
Understand evolving and emerging customer applications and needs. Provide context specific training to the development organization about these needs.
Represent Informatics at conferences and user events
Work with the other members of the management team to maintain and evolve the product roadmap and the architectural roadmap
