We are looking for a WAN Technical Lead for one of our partner, a company specialized in automotive technologies, solutions and services.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other comparable education in the field of engineering environments;
At least 5 years of experience in application and solution development and engineering with an emphasis on Networking;
Demonstrable knowledge of the core business processes domain;
Demonstrable knowledge of the application development and test management discipline;
Relevant experience in an international environment;
Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and oral);
Fluent in English, written and verbal.

Nice to have
Possesses 1 or more of the following Cisco certifications (current or expired):
- CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate;
- CCNP Cisco Certified Network Professional;
- CCIE Cisco Certified Internet work Expert Preferred;
Experience in implementing/ supporting (Cisco) wireless, switched, and router technologies;
Demonstrable knowledge of ITIL processes;

The Technical Lead (integration, maintenance, support, consultant) realizes, engineers, integrates and advices on new or updated applications and IT solutions in accordance with the system solution design. He/ she reports directly to the Infrastructure Services Manager.
Understand the architecture of the operational platforms, applications and/ or IT solutions;
Maintain the technical roadmap of the running applications and/or IT solutions and perform version control and configuration management;
Translate technical requirements from projects and change this into specifications for internal and external delivery parties;
Execute engineering activities regarding brokerage, integration, implementation, publication and deployment of new and/or existing applications, software components and IT solutions in an efficient and automated way.
Automate processes and knowledge as much as possible including provisioning, monitoring and continuous delivery elements;
Manage and monitor application and infrastructure operations and handle and solve incidents and problems on a diverse range of complex platform infrastructure, systems and applications with special focus on common infrastructure components such as network connectivity, shared firewalls, NOC services, hardware, etc.
Coordinate and handle outstanding changes incidents problem management process with your team and coordinate efforts with the support engineering team in a proactive manner.
Ensure applications, IT solutions and platforms are secure, scalable and operate autonomous providing the agreed availability and capacity supported with adequate IT continuity, contingency and resilience;
Integrate and maintain platform and infrastructure solution design from a technical perspective;
Develop the detailed technical design to publicize and run software components based using the established standards for software development and deployment;
Develop and execute IT solutions for automating acceptance, performance, reliability and functional tests;
Execute and refine automated load performance tests, penetration tests and functional smoke tests are all part of the job;
Initiate and provide appropriate IT solutions for Continuous Deployment and testing strategies and develop and enhance our test platform;
Maintain in depth technical engineering knowledge regarding applications and infrastructure (e.g. cloud orchestration, brokerage, EDI) and provides to the point advice.
Since this function is WAN focused, more emphasis is in the following areas:
- Installation Setup Configuration Troubleshooting of LAN Equipment;
- WAN accelerators support;
- WAN Deployments Route Distribution over MPLS Network Route Maps Filtering Traffic Prioritization;
- Routing, switching, wireless, load balancers;
- DDI (DNS DHCP IPAM).
- Packet Capturing Analysis WireShark TCPdump, OpNET, etc.;
- Network Security Firewalls NAT IPSEC Access Lists Proxy IPS IDS URL filtering;
- Network Management tools (e.g. HP NNMINA);
- SD-WAN technologies (DMVPN, APIC-EM, NGen Palto Alto firewalls, Live Action);
Cisco Nexus Prime CMXISE;
NAC (802.1x), Profiling, Posturing, SD-Access, Cisco ETA (Encrypted Traffic Analytics);
Assist in release and change management and the solution of severe incidents;
Review project proposals from internal and external delivery units from a technical perspective;
Continuously improve our lean based way of working on application and solution operations with underlying procedures, tooling, and methodologies;
