Project Manager to BTL R&D Romania

We do that through a holistic Research and Development process where all stakeholders, ranging from the production team, medics, specialists, nurses, etc., are integrated during the entire process and their feedback and suggestions are taken into account as important advice.

Your qualifications:

● We expect that you as a minimum hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechatronic/Mechanical
engineering or similar. A Master’s degree is preferred
● Your active involvement in socially beneficial activities (sport’s trainer, scout leader, volunteer work, etc.) is
considered an advantage. So is a diverse working experience
● It will be good if you have previous experience with project management as well as with risk management,
and we expect you to be able to act autonomously in the project
● We expect that you have a good technical background in Hardware or Mechanical
engineering
● We appreciate if you have some years of practical experience with full product development of electronic or
electromechanical devices
● Experience in developing medical devices would be considered an advantage
● You are a flexible team player with strong communication skills
● You are also self-organized and result-oriented
● And you possess good problem-solving capabilities, innovativeness, creativity

Key tasks:

● You will be leading a complex R&D project of developing high-end medical devices from the analysis stage
until the release to production
● Furthermore, will you be leading and coordinating a multidisciplinary team of engineers (hardware,
mechanical, firmware, software, testing) working on the project
● We expect that you take ownership of the technical direction of the project, in collaboration with senior
engineers
● As well as that you will be coordinating with the Heads of Departments on resource planning and
development
● And that you will be cooperating with Product Marketing and clinical specialist on requirement definition
● You are responsible for the entire project management - including risk management, resource planning,
project planning, project documentation, project cost monitoring
● Cooperation with stakeholders on product certification and design transfer to production is your
responsibility
● Coordination with internal stakeholders (e.g. Product Marketing, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Service, Quality
Assurance, Regulatory Affairs) and external stakeholders (e.g. Industrial Designer) is part of your daily activity
