Mechanical Engineer to BTL R&D Romania

Your qualifications:

● We expect that you have an active interest in specialization in mechanical engineering
● Your active involvement in socially beneficial activities (sport’s trainer, scout leader, volunteer work, etc.) is
considered an advantage. So is a diverse working experience
● You have very good knowledge in general mechanics from demountable / non-demountable assemblies,
couplings, transmissions to metal sheet processing, design of plastic components and complex structures
● Furthermore, do you have good capabilities of researching and understanding the details of mechanical
assemblies, performing tolerance and resistance calculation
● It will be good if you have deep knowledge about designing mechanical parts according to best
manufacturing practices as well as about production technologies
● You have significant knowledge of design according to best manufacturing practices
● We also expect that you have good knowledge of engineering materials and their applications
● Finally, does the international collaboration of the position require that you have good English skills in
writing, reading, and speaking

We highly appreciate if you also have at least some of these qualifications:

● Experience in Medical Device development
● That you are a proficient worker in SolidWorks
● And that you have the ability to act as a technical leader

Key tasks:

● You will work as a member of a cross-functional project team engaged in new product development
● You will also work with the development, design, construction, and testing of mechanical parts and
assemblies for medical devices according to the latest standards
● Analysis of project technical needs, active search for new promising technologies, proposing technical
solutions and driving analysis is part of your responsibilities
● You will be designing in 3D CAD system, production drawings creation
● As well as conducting mechanical and physical calculations as well as simulations
● Furthermore, will you design reviews of technical solutions
● Assist in the construction of the prototypes with the rest of the project team
● You will also work closely with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, for Product Certification
preparation
● Last but not least will you support cost quotation and evaluation of proposed solutions
