The topic: Voice interfaces: the present and the future.

In the next couple of years voice interfaces are going to become extremely important. Every site that has desktop and mobile interfaces today will be obliged not only to provide accessibility as we understand it by a11y, but also to support full voice scenarios.

In the talk I would like to cover what to do right now in order not to miss the moment, what tools we as frontend developers already have and what new knowledge we must get (or even invent) to build voice good interfaces.

    The topic: Web components

Web Components: a brief introduction. We'll discuss what web components are, what to expect from them and what problems they were designed to solve. Next we'll discuss how they fit in the current frontend development landscape, among so many (new and old) frameworks and if they are a feasible replacement. Next we'll see it in action: Building our first component.
Finally, given the current frontend landscape, we'll draw our conclusions: where and when are web components suitable.
