- At minimum a Bachelors degree in Financial Management or Business Economics or a comparable course of studies;
- Requires at least 5 years of experience in financeaccounting, including strong background and experience in statutory reporting for legal entity based in Romania;
- A qualified accountant with CECCAR certification;
- The candidate will have a can-do attitude to their role with enthusiasm to take on new challenges as well as the ability work at the more tactical level to achieve the objectives;
- As the lead but only finance role on site the candidate will be prepared to do the basic accounting work as well as the more strategic activities when working with the management team;
- The candidate will demonstrate the required expertise, commitment and awareness to establish themselves as a trusted partner to the management team on financial matters;
- Solid experience as a finance manager who is able to operate independently, solving problems but also knowing when to ask for support and guidance;
- Business negotiable English language skills are required;
- Demonstrated knowledge of all relevant GAAP reporting requirements;
- Benefits from experience in a similar role as responsible financial accountant for a shared service unit legal entity based in Romania;
- Strong background in financial management for global IT departments with according focus on IT project financials, IT supplier financials, business case calculation for IT investments.

- Responsible for all statutory reporting control of all financial reporting to Statutory bodies including year-end statutory accounts;
- Organization and control of an independent audit by the appointed auditors;
- Responsible for the day to day financial control including controlling of the bank account, cashflow and payables;
- Establishing and monitoring the internal financial controls for the company ensuring all required SOX procedures are in place;
- Build strong relationships both within the management team and the wider finance community within the organisation handling ad hoc tasks as they arise;
- Responsible for providing all planning inputs into the global budget planning process to ensure all costs, risks and opportunities are captured for the Bucharest legal entity as well as the global services in scope;
- Create and implement local accounting policies (including communication towards employees);
- Ensure accounting policies align with all GAAP and statutory requirements;
- Develop both financial reporting required by the finance organisation as well as management reporting being able to work closely with both finance and non-finance managers.
