    What are we looking for?

    Our practice is currently seeking for an Immigration Assistant within our Tax– GMS (Global Mobility Services) function/Expatriates Services.
    I
    mmigration rules and legislation are constantly evolving, following political and economic changes which influence them. Immigration and Global mobility become high on the agenda of both multinational groups, as well as local Romanian entities who either expand beyond Romanian borders or engage into international projects. Immigration compliance comes ever more complex, KPMG’s immigration practice continues to grow rapidly. Our challenge is to monitor and anticipate changes to immigration legislation and respond quickly with advice tailored to our clients’ commercial requirements.

    Ideal candidate:

    • Is willing to interact with various authorities in Romania (i.e. General Inspectorate for Immigration, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diverse Embassies of foreign countries in Romania, notary public and translation offices, National Visa Center, Border Police etc);
    • Is enthusiastic about combining field work with the office work;
    • Is problem-solving oriented, curious and has excellent communication skills;
    • Is flexible, open to change and proactive;
    • Is communicative and willing to interact with multi-cultural people / expatriates;
    • Has knowledge of standard office IT applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
    • Has good knowledge of English;
