Connect44 was founded in the heart of Switzerland. Our goal was to support Telecom Operators and Equipment Manufacturers to design, manage and Optimise Mobile Networks. Starting with some of the first 2G voice networks, we began to grow our team of professionals to equip ourselves for new projects with new technologies and new ways of working. Investing substantial amounts of our budget on training, we started to move into 3G then 4G. Soon came the changes to IP networks, VOIP and preparing networks for large amounts of data by modernisation of old analogue networks to the digital standards. Over the past years Connect44 has steadily developed key longterm partnerships with its clients in many European countries with offices in Switzerland, UK, Germany, France, Romania and Chile.

BABSc degree in Engineering or Computer SciencernrnAt least 2 years of proven experience of 2G and 3G RAN planning on RNCsrnrnStrong technical background in the Telecommunications field, especially in Mobile Radio Networks and the paging requirements (including LACRACTACURA)rnrnUnderstanding of ATM network, IP, Core Network, Network Management and Transmission principlesrnrnGood knowledge of BSC RNC products from more than one vendorrnrnExperience with MS Office and SharepointrnrnKnowledge with Remedy or PrOptima would be an advantagernrnFluent English spoken and written

Translating 2G and 3G rollout plans into detailed plans for deployment into the network containing network element resource allocation, databuild parameters and connectivity details (using MaGNet)rnrnCreating network modelsrnrnProduce detailed implementation plans in appropriate planning tools for Mobile Access eventsrnrnProduce regular capacity reports for the above network elements, highlighting any potential capacity shortfallsrnrnWillingness to travel within Europe if required
