Software Developer, VTR

Your day to day:   This position is responsible for programming the Vodafone Telecoms Reporting platform, including database, business logic, user interface, integration with other components and other utilities used to support the VTR solution.   With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:  

• Develop well-structured code following company standards
• Document enhancements made and system changes
• Provide input to impact analysis on other systems
• Handle 3rd level of support for the applications developed
• Ability to excel in a distributed team model environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development
• Understanding of relational database design and data normalization (Data warehouse knowledge is a plus)
• Good communication skills
• University degree preferred.
• Java EE
• Frontend skills: Java, Angular.js, SCSS, HTML5
• SQL (PL/SQL is a plus)
• Persistence frameworks (Hibernate, JPA)
• Web Services (REST, SOAP/XML)
• Unit testing
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban)
• Versioning systems, preferably Git
• Experience with Spring framework is a plus
