    Requirements

    Relevant domain experience is essential for this role. Beyond that, were looking for good Product Ownerqualities; Product Owner experience is optionalpreferred.

    Domain knowledge:
    - PhD in Life Science, Chemistry or appropriate scientific field with focus on Mass Spectrometry and Liquid Chromatography
    - Knowledge of cGxP regulations, regulated and non-regulated environments

    Preferred:
    - Proven knowledge of LCMS systems and their use in one of more of Waters primary markets
    - Proven experience with relevant laboratory software and industry knowledge
    Analytical chemistry knowledge

    Product Owner experience - preferred:
    - Proven record of product delivery in a PO role
    - Knowledge of the software development process, especially Agile
    - Knowledge of Waters instruments, systems and solutions.

    Responsibilities

    The role involves:
    - Working with other departments to gather requirements and prioritize product related issues
    - Organizing, leading and documenting interactions with external customers
    - Ensuring that clear milestone goals and objectives are set and communicated
    - Providing all technical support to the teams in understanding the customer requirements
    - Collaborating with the PO Team to ensure dependencies are managed
    - Aligning product lifecycle with other Waters products and services
    - Acting as technical advisor and conduit between other departments
    - Act as a SME on your domain, share your knowledge with different roles and teams, mentor colleagues on their career path
    - Communicating internally, the benefit of software products through webcasts, demos, presentations, etc.
    - Travelling both domestically and internationally

    In this role you will be accountable for:
    - Defining the vision for applications, workflows and products
    - Ensuring that the vision addresses the needs of our customers
    - Articulating that vision within Waters
    - Breaking that vision down into an effective product backlog
