    The project
    Systematic IT (ITM) is responsible for delivering secure IT services for the business in an effective and cost-efficient manner. These services support our engineers working to deliver products and services to the customer and also our internal shared functions, such as Finance, Legal and People and Culture.

    This team is an essential part in being able to deliver those services, keeping compliant, managing service lifecycle and providing support to maintain service availability.

    The role
    Is to be the key-player in building and leading a new IT operations team in Bucharest. The team will be 3 people in total focussing on the operation and maintenance of Systematics IT services:
    Ownership of the tools and processes for event management and major incident management.
    Implementation and ownership the maintenance plan/schedule.
    Implementation of standard operating procedures
    2nd line support

    Requirements
    The role will require close collaboration with colleagues in Bucharest and Denmark.
    In this role you will spearhead the build-up of a new IT Operations team in Bucharest with a focus on:
    Event Management
    2nd level end-user support
    Operational and maintenance activities
    Furthermore, having a Team Lead role for all IT employees in Bucharest providing local guidance and support for our employees.
    The first task will be to participate in hiring 2 persons for the team.

    Subsequently to:
    Take over event management and well as 2nd level support responsibilities
    Detect and react on alerts from the IT services and infrastructure
    Improve and maintain monitoring solutions (Microsoft Operations Manager and Prometheus)
    Monitor and manage 2nd level ticket queues

    Implement maintenance schedule for our IT services and solutions
    It is very important to be motivated by the prospect of building and improving a new team and function. As senior, we want the candidate to act as “playing coach”, being the driving force of the new team, warrant for progress and team motivator and spokesperson.

    Qualifications
    The candidate is expected to have formal IT qualifications and a minimum of 5 years practical experience.

    The candidate could have little leadership experience or could be someone for whom team lead is the logical next step. We are looking for a "player coach".
