RPG Developer

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

Strong analytical skills and self-starter with ability to take ownership for tasks and assignments;
Experience in full SDLC required: User requirements gathering, applicationsystem analysis and design, development and deployment;
Experience on OS400 System 36;
Experience with RPG, ILE-RPG, RPG400, RPG36, OCL, CL, embedded and Dynamic SQL, QUERY400, RLU, DFU, SQL400, Data Base Utility (DBU 5.0);
Experience in the AS400 Turnover change management process would be good or similar deployment tools. (Aldon)
Desirable : Finance, bank, accounting;
English is a must, French is a plus but not mandatory.

Understand and support Bank, Finance and accounting operation;
Work closely with the Business Analyst and within the IT group;
Develop and support custom bespoke iSeries programs with primary alignment to Listed Systems group;
Assist with 3nd level support of the operation, testing, enhancement of the custom application and its impact capacity process;
Work on finance projects;
Candidate would need to gain an understanding of finance and accounting roles and data flow within the Technology group;
