  • CNC Programming using DELCAM solutions (FeatureCAM and PowerMill)
  • Good understanding of 2d drawings and general tolerancing





    Mechanical Laboratory Engineer

    What will you be doing?



    * Ability to affectively create NC programs for a CNC lathe and 3+2 axis mill;
    * Perform Machine Setups and Trials for Development Projects;
    * Create Process Sheets that clearly define Process Procedures;
    * Must have shop floor experience and intimate knowledge of milling machine capability and functionality;
    * Provide support to machine operators after the initial run was executed;
    * Identify improvement opportunities in NC programming;
    * Analyze and document current manufacturing methods;
    * Offer solutions/recommendations in the machined part quotation phase;
    * Investigate current and developing technologies for improvements in manufacturing methods of air spring components;
    * Support audit activities;
    * Communicate with toll suppliers and metrology departments.

    Job Requirements

    Besides being awesome, you need to have:



    * CNC Programming using DELCAM solutions (FeatureCAM and PowerMill)
    * Sound knowledge of CNC Machines and machine shop practices
    * Good knowledge of cutting tool geometry
    * Good understanding of 2d drawings and general tolerancing
    * Good working knowledge of machine controls
    * Ability to organize a sequence of tasks on a project to meet commitment dates
    * 3+ Years of experience of CNC programing
