Software Test Manager for Embedded Systems - ADAS TSR

The Chassis & Safety division develops, produces and markets intelligent systems to improve driving safety and vehicle dynamics. Integral active and passive safety technologies and products that support vehicle dynamics provide greater safety, comfort and convenience. The goal here is to implement "Vision Zero," the vision of accident-free driving.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems provide drivers active safety support by identifying potentially hazardous situations in advance, and helping to avoid them. We are developing innovative intelligent sensors based on the newest camera, laser and radar technologies in automotive electronics. Our intelligent sensors provide functions such as : Emergency Brake Assist , Adaptive Cruise Control , Lane Change Assist , Rear Cross Traffic Assist , Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keeping Support , Traffic Sign Recognition , Lane Departure Warning , Pedestrian Detection.

The embedded SW Development Group is responsible for implementing and testing the infrastructure functions of our sensors, which includes:

- low level initialization of the hardware components

- initialization of the complete sensor board, including power supplies and clock generators

- supervising the sensor from every aspect: temperatures, voltages, frequencies/clocks, bus inputs

- communication between the sensor and the vehicle (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)

- implementation of the diagnostic functionalities (error codes, logging of events etc)

- interfacing the algorithms with the vehicle (signal verification, translation, data encryption etc.)

Within the SW Development Group we are building and delivering complete projects, having all the necessary roles: SW Requirements Engineer, SW Developer, Function Delivery Owner, SW Test Manager, SW Test Engineer, SW Quality Engineer, SW Project Manager and Customer Interface.

As a Software Test Manager you will:

- Define the SW Test Strategy

- Plan and coordinate SW Testing activities for each SW Release

- Monitor the SW Test Automation status

- Plan and coordinate the SW Test Runs

- Prepare the SW Test Results Sheet and evaluate the SW maturity

- Perform risk assessment for each SW Release

- Coordinate the Project SW Test Team

- Make sure all the project team members have required training and equipment

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in SW testing

- Proven experience in project management

- Experience in different testing models (Agile, V Model, Waterfall)

- Knowledge of different SW Test methodologies - Knowledge of test automation approaches

- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous test processes

- University degree - ISTQB Certificate is an advantage

- Experience with automotive products is an advantage

- Knowledge of embedded systems is an advantage

- Very good communication skills

- Very good English
