    Graduate in Mathematics, Economics, Databases, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences
    Previous insurance-related experience min. five years
    Experience with actuarial tools (Prophet, MoSes), programming and or actuarial modelling would be a plus
    Good understanding of insurance products
    Willing to work in an international environment
    Willing to study towards the UK actuarial exams

    Responsibilities

    Job role

    In the Team Leader role, you will work as a member of the Actuarial Support Center team within Allianz. The Actuarial Support Center has the largest team of actuaries on the Romanian market with young, motivated and passionate professionals that turn the unpredictable into predictable. The Actuarial Support Center offers consulting support to various insurance companies from the Allianz world who act as customers, therefore proving financial expertise in the Allianz world by:

    Analyzing, optimizing and creating financial models that form the basis of insurance products
    Providing thorough analyses of complex data
    Performing data analytics

    Responsibilities

    In this position, you will have a team coordination role in the Actuarial Support Center team in collaboration with the Actuarial Function for two Allianz top players: the Irish Hub of Allianz Global Life and Darta Saving Life Assurance. You will report to the Head of Actuarial Operations. You will be involved in activities such as:

    Coordination of a growing team of actuaries, by developing the team members, providing direction and support, driving their wellbeing and encouraging them to stay up to date on best practices and technical developments, in accordance with the requirements specified by the Irish Hub and Darta
    Ensuring service delivery in-line with service agreement and customer expectations with regards to time, cost and quality
    Managing customer expectations
    Providing the team with freedom to act towards clearly defined expectations
    Facilitating open and constructive communication between stakeholders
    Coordinating projects logistics
    Active involvement in technical tasks and specificities of the actuarial projects within the two companies, such as:
    Data management and analytics, including experience investigations
    Reporting an interpretation of analyzed data
    Performing actuarial calculations and stochastic model runs
    Actuarial model development, validations, maintenance, documentation and testing
    Complete standard actuarial analysis and reporting tasks assigned by the actuarial departments
