    Requirements

    Role
    You need to know a little about a great number of topics like operating systems, disk management, databases, networking, performance, web site, load balancing, security, backups, disaster recovery, project management, and configuration management.
    You might think that as an Application Administrator youll spend all of your time dealing with computers and software, but you will also be dealing with a LOT of people. A typical day will have you spending as much time with other people as with the applications youre administering. Some of the types of people are: Users, Developers, Power Users, Product Owners, Other Application Administrators, DBAs, The Network team, The Security team, Help Desk
    This role is not just about keeping the applications running. We are constantly looking for ways to improve the processes. As part of the technical team you are expected to contribute to this effort. A significant impact can be seen in documentation, best practices and process maturity.

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience
    Good knowledge and demonstrated troubleshooting abilities on connectivity issues due to firewall, load balancer, proxy and others.
    Expertise and experience in Microsoft .net framework - based web applications is a must. (WCF, WebApplications, Windows Services)
    Knowledge of Web Services and Services Oriented Architecture is desirable
    Maximum confort in handling PowerShell
    Experience with PowerSell DSC for configuring the application servers
    Knowledge in implementing and maintaining current Windows server products (SQL Server, IIS )
    Understand devops practices
    Familiarity with Build and Release strategies
    Comfort in using git
    Experience with monitoring tools is a plus.
    Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels.
    Excellent problem solvinganalytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools.
    Hands on experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness.
    Polite persistence is a must and it pays off
    Excellent technical documentation affinity

    Responsibilities

    Monitor the Solution Selling Application suite, document and analyze problems
    Lead and participate in efforts to develop and implement processes for application and system monitoring
    Work closely with application development teams and vendors to tune and troubleshoot applications
    Maintain system documentation
    Configure environments for the application suite
    Collaborate with hardware, OS, DBA technical teams to ensure proper integration of the environment
    Develop and maintain the reporting and dashboard infrastructure for the organization
    Reviews and addresses assigned technical support tickets and calls, enters all updates related to such calls into the Help Desk ticketing system, and keeps team aware of any sensitive or escalating issues
    Enable best practices
    Maintain SLA, System Availability, Capacity management, and Performance KPI
