Qualifications

Education:

• You hold an university degree in Informatics, Software-Engineering or similar technical oriented discipline;

Know-how:

• 5+ Years of Experience in agile software development including any of the roles product owner, senior business analyst, development manager, or quality assurance manager. Practical experience in deriving product decisions based on KPIs and customer feedback is a plus;
• You are proactively seeking requirements and reacting to the market needs;
• Experienced with Agile Scrum processes, tools and methodology;
• Experience with Big Data solutions and technologies (eg. Hadoop ecosystem) and RDMBS (eg. Oracle DB) is mandatory;
• Understanding of streaming platforms like Apache Kafka;
• Understanding of IoT and I4.0 technologies and concepts;
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, Jira, Bitbucket, Github, Nifi, Docker, Jenkins, DockerSwarm/Kubernetes etc.;

Personality:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to report to multiple stakeholders in a timely and effective manner through both meetings and presentations and to write clear and complete value based epics and features;
• Your working style can be described as collaborative, autonomous, proactive and structured with excellent problem solving skills. You are able to prioritize and efficiently implement a variety of topics in very dynamic environments and under high time pressure;
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with senior management, customers, and partners;
• Passion for new technologies and innovation;

Languages spoken:
o A good level of English; German can be an advantage;

• You elicit needs/wants (user stories/requirements) from business and technical partners and define MVPs, managing product backlog priorities, and strategically de-scoping to achieve rapid feedback cycles;
• Define and align the product vision, roadmap, strategic goals, and ensure the stakeholders are on board;
• Together with the engineering and product management you set a strategy, define and identify component/products as applicable, and make the hard, high-judgment trade-offs between performance, features, and speed-to-market;
• You write epics and features, and supply acceptance criteria detailed enough for the DevOps team to deliver successfully;
• Your profound knowledge and experience in software development and Big Data architectures allows you to support the DevOps team in a professional way;
• Together with an internationally distributed team you implement these concepts in an agile approach (SCRUM) where you will be in charge of the backlog management and sprint planning/execution, actively participating in all Sprint events;
• You support the team by removing impediments that impact delivery;
• You identify future potential of your products and you manage to get your team, customers and business network excited about it;
• You are a product expert and represent the market effectively;
