ING {Dev}School - Software Testing Edition

ING {Dev}School – Software Testing Edition/*empowered by ING*/ is an intensive hands-on training program fully sponsored by ING Romania, that helps you create a fully automated web testing solution in Java.   During this edition:

• You will learn to create a Test Plan for a website (demo website or real website);
• You will learn to build from scratch a test automation solution using top open-source technologies: Java (programming language) + Selenium (framework for testing web applications) + Cucumber (testing tool);
• You will find out how to make your project reliable using Maven (build automation tool) and GIT (repository);
• You will approach different aspects of testing: connecting to a Database, API testing, Web testing, Test management, Reporting;
• Also learn about design patterns in testing, clean code, unit testing, Agile methodology and more. 

• Will host 15 participants;
• Will last for 6 weeks, between September 30 – November 8, 2019;
• Will be organized in 2 sessions/week (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3 hours/day, outside working hours, from 5 to 8 pm)

• Determined to tackle learning Java and curious to discover ING Bank;
• Student (final year or recent graduate - 2 years max.) or that wants to expand his/her expertise in automated testing with Java;
• A logical thinker, who has a good eye for details;
• A good team player;

• Basic knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) or any programming language;

• Your Progress – the trainer’s positive feedback on your class interactions and attendance;
