Scala Full-Stack Software Engineer

As a provider of internal IT services for METRO GROUP, METRO SYSTEMS Romania provides specialized consulting to retail companies in all aspects of IT, develops specific solutions along the full value chain and provides a powerful IT infrastructure with a team of over 900 IT professionals.

2+ years of programming experience in languages such as Scala, Java, Python, TypeScript
Experience working with Cassandra or other NoSQL database technologies
Experience analyzing performance and tuning an application for scale
A significant track record of constantly learning new technologies.
Energetic and has a passion for programming and emerging technologies

Would be Especially Cool:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
Experience with functional languages like Scala, Haskell, or Clojure.
Experience with Akka Http for Resful Web Services.
Experience with search technologies like elasticsearch or Solr.
Experience with React.js
