Junior Tax Analyst

For one of our clients, a leading global professional services company, we are currently looking for a team of Jr Analyst (Global Tax Compliance Junior) in Bucharest.

The Jr. Analyst will be responsible to support teams across the engagement life-cycle of indirect tax compliance processes.

• A bachelor degree with focus on Accountancy/Tax or Economics
• Fluency in English, any other European language is a strong asset
• Shows interest in understanding the practical impact for multinationals of indirect tax legislation
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks while working simultaneously on multiple clients
• A great sense of accuracy and being result oriented
• Strong communication and team skills, with a willingness to work with a Belgian and Indian team
• Good knowledge of MS Office and good IT skills in general

• Assist multinationals in complying with their indirect tax obligations, all over Europe and beyond
• Assist multinationals on indirect tax compliance related topics (registrations, audits and other specific activities)
• Become proficient with the GTCE tools and systems to collect data and generate indirect tax returns
• Assist with the development of technology and VAT compliance tools to support new reporting requirements across EMEA
• Assist indirect tax specialists with analysis and insights through big data

Standard working hours would be 10:30 to 19:30, Bucharest time.
