    Process Improvement Specialist

    Your mission:

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Improvement Specialist to join our Accounting team within DFIN/DOM/ACR in Bucharest. Reporting to the Process Owner of the Accounting transformation project within our perimeter, this role is contributing to redesign/improve and monitor the evolution of the Accounting and Reporting processes in the context of the transformation project, including standardization and simplification of the processes.

    Your Role in a Nutshell:

    • Contribute to accounting/reporting processes transformation through harmonization and standardization;
    • Design new optimized and standardized processes and measure the efficiency expected generated by the new process.
    • Closely collaborates and contributes, together with the Accounting experts, to design the new process – process maps, manuals, procedures, other process organization;
    • Performs office organization scenarios and advises/supports implementation;
    • Performs controls following implementation or the new processes–data collection, monitoring, benefit measurements;
    • Monitors the new process and ensures the efficiency is maintained;
    • Apply methodology & approach for process redesign: to be process design (automated and non-automated processes);
    • Align with the organizational or strategic direction that affects project goals and objectives;
    • Partner with business stakeholders to define success metrics and criteria;
    • Define and report on process redesign progress and achievement of milestones, regularly updating key stakeholders on status & escalating issues quickly.

    A little about you:

    • Economic academic background;
    • +5 years’ experience in finance – accounting/risk/banking/regulatory topics;
    • 3-5 years of proven experience in process improvement/redesign; process reengineering, projects implementation; exposure to digital transformation/tool implementation projects would be an advantage;
    • Very good knowledge of six sigma methodologies (BB or GB certification is an advantage);
    • Change management missions, coordination, organization;
    • Exposure to multiple stakeholders on the same initiative across locations.
