    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, we would like you to:

    Have a graduate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering
    Have excellent English language skills (write, read, talk)
    Work independently with high degree of ownership
    Work on multitude of various projects requires difference skill sets from analytics to product
    Meet strict weekly timeliness and quality standards established by the department
    Multi-task and be results driven

    Optional skills:

    Experience with SQL, Databases, Python
    Machine Learning frameworks and libraries preferred, not required

    Responsibilities

    For LSEG Romania based in Bucharest, we are currently recruiting for quantitative analyst position in our ISG Analytics team.

    As a Quantitative Analysts, you will be responsible for:

    Analysing data and produce quantitative analysis with focus on more complex asset classes secularisation such as Residential and Asset Backed Securities, Covered Bonds, CLOs;
    Reviewing documents and data, assess accuracy of calculations, and conduct cash flow analyses to improve product quality and increase coverage in Securitized Markets;
    Collect and analyse quantitative and/or qualitative data from multiple information sources including legal documents, monthly reports, data tapes, and other data (including macroeconomic data);
    Analyse stored data, reconcile various calculations within products to ensure accuracy and quality of calculations for various product types;
    Review of Cash Flow Models for various Securitized Products, assist in building models by data analysis and research.
    Work with Data, Analytics, Modelling and Product Teams to ensure successful and accurate deployment of specialised security types;
    Identify and suggest ideas for reducing effort spent on data collection and analysis by using automation or by process optimisation. Improve processes and tools using programming and data science skills.
