Testing Analyst

ALTEN Romania, part of the international ALTEN Group - with a unique position as Leader in IT & Engineering Consulting, provides support for its clients’ development strategies in the fields of innovation, R&D and IT systems since 1996. The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

Technical requirements:

• Experience in performing test tasks;
• Understand the test process throughout the Cascade and / or Agile delivery cycle;
• Knowledge of PC - working with the database (SQL, Oracle, RDBMS), interfacing
knowledge, Web services, using specific applications: TOAD, SQL Developer, Jira,
ALM, SOAP UI;
• Minimum knowledge of structured programming, knowledge of the business system;
• It is a plus participation and / or certification in one of the disciplines recognized in the
field: Six Sigma, ISEB, ISTQB, TMap.

1. Planning and execution of tests:

• Write the test cases, create the test data, run the test activities, and record the results under the supervision of the test
coordinator;
• Retests corrections and ensures that issues have been resolved;
• Provides support in analyzing, documenting and communicating results;
• Participates in the implementation of good practices and adhering to the implemented testing standard
• Maintain regression testing packages and includes in these packages the tests identified after the recording of production
incidents.

2. User Acceptance Test Support (UAT):

• Helps finalize UAT test scenarios;
• Provides support for the preparation of test data and scenario execution, filters and investigates reported defects, tracks
them on the workflow.
