Your Mission:

The main processes covered by the Data Quality Team at Societe Generale European Business Services are: improving and maintaining data quality for the business lines and functional directions of the group, by managing different categories of data and by using the group tools or specific reporting tools.

Your Role in a Nutshell:

• Offer support to business lines in data quality process:
  • Define and implement quality controls
  • Define an exception management process based on the current quality controls
  • Analyze, query and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures
  • Identify, compare and resolve data quality problems detected in Group tools
  • Update the dashboards in accordance with the business needs
• Ensure the remediation process to improve data quality
  • Analyze the root causes of anomalies, identify corrective actions and work with various support teams to correct data quality errors
  • Maintain a record of original data and corrected data
  • Detect duplicate entries and correctly identify true data
  • Redirect the requests that are not falling under team responsibility to the appropriate actors, in line with defined policies and SLAs
  • Define remediation plans to improve data quality and monitor the roll-out of remediation plans
• Ensure continuous improvement of data quality
• Ensure operational continuity
  • Act as a back-up for the team members
  • Stay aware of the Risk and compliance measures and flag any potential risks
  • Ensure that the team process procedures are up to date

A little about You:

• You have minimum 1 year or more of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge in Reference data management: Third Parties, Nomenclatures, Products, Structure & Organizations and HR is a plus
• Data Knowledge (Data Visualization, Data Mining, Statistics, Databases)
• You are fluent in French and English
