As part of the new journey, 2Checkout (now Verifone) is growing the talented tech team in Bucharest where it will create an R&D excellence center.

Almost 100 jobs will be open in the following months to work on top-notch payments like: integrating alternative payment methods, payments authentication, mobile POS application, payment gateway solutions, android platform for payment devices and others.

The new colleagues will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies for solutions used in more than 150 markets in which Verifone operates. They will also contribute to the development of ultra-innovative payment solutions and integrated ecosystems used in all global sales channels, both online and offline, many of which do not currently exist in Romania. This is a collaborative and fast paced work environment, where people work with real time problems, that make a big impact in the industry.

-Experience in different types of testing (functional, integration, regression, performance, security testing)
-Experience with Software Development and Testing Lifecycles
-3-4 years of experience in web-based applications software testing automation (cross-browser and mobile devices)
-Experience in working with at least one CI tool (preferably Jenkins)
-Experience with at least one tests/bugs/change requests management system (preferably Jira and/or Redmine)
-Experience in working with Selenium Webdriver
-Proven experience in automation testing
-Experience with code versioning systems (preferably GIT)
-Proven experience in working with BDD test automation frameworks (Behave / Cucumber / Behat)
-Proven experience in working with a database server (preferably MySQL)
-Experience with testing web services / API’s (SOAP, REST, JSON-RPC)
-Experience in working with Agile SCRUM structure
-Nice to have Unix/Linux/MacOS experience
-Proactive attitude, detail oriented
-Good communication skills, fluent in English

-Work closely with the QA / Dev / Business Analysts, as part of the SCRUM team, to define the technical requirements and making sure they are correct and complete
-Perform the manual testing and implement the automated test on new developments stories based on the requirements
-Analyze and suggest improvements / optimizations of the automated tests system
-Propose new tools and concepts which can be implemented in the manual / automated tests system
-Develop automation tests using Python,regardless of previous programing/scripting language experience. Training will be provided as well as job support if needed.
-Contribute to test case generation and maintenance
-Generating QA specific documentation in Confluence
-Apply testing best practices to your work, keeping in mind the need for traceability and transparency
-Report on the status of test execution during sprint
-Guide junior team members when they are in need of technical answers
