Database Administrator

VON Consulting is an HR Consultancy company, providing solutions and services in the following areas: recruitment and executive search, personnel leasing, payroll, administration and training.

Technologies necessary on this position:
Linux
knowledge of SQL languages
English language

Necessary and we can teach you:
Cassandra or MariaDB or PostgreSQL or Oracle
Docker or Docker-compose or Salt or Jenkins or Git
Experience in database administration

Nice-to-have:
knowledge of CQL or data modeling
knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix or Prometheus)
Bash or Python scripting
Experience in solving performance problems

Development of database technologies e.g MariaDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Oracle databases in a dockerized environment (Docker, Docker Compose, Git, Salt, Jenkins, AWS, Terraform);
Automation of DB environments (DevOPs) integration with Technology Stack;
Cooperation with DEV departments in the context of Data Modeling, Best Practices, New Features;
Searching for new solutions, technologies to be implemented in the DBA department;
Designing, improving GR, DR environments;
Automation, standardization, deployment of databases and related solutions.
