Java Developer-Transport Business


Development of SW applications for the railway field, including:
• Design, Implementation/Coding and Unit test
• Application maintenance and bug fixing
• Documentation (English)
• Regular progress reporting

The development will be performed in a professional environment in close co-operation with experts in Austria.

We are looking for an outstanding applicant who can demonstrate the following qualities:


Education:
Computer science graduates (Automatics and Computers Faculty, Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Informatics, Faculty of Cybernetics)

Requested technical competencies:
• Strong knowledge of Java language (J2SE)
• Knowledge of OOD (Design Patterns) and UML
• Experience of full project lifecycle: design and documentation, development, unit testing, refactoring, deployment and maintenance.

Would be a plus:
• Experience with Java technologies like JMS, JAXB
• Experience with SWT
• Experience with GIT, Maven, DOORS
• Linux skills
• JGroups
• Infinispan
• Camel

• Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team
• Team-working
• Flexibility and availability to travel abroad from time to time
• Highly motivated

Languages:
• English (fluent)
• German would be a plus
