UI/UX Designer

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of work experience as a UI/Web Design or similar role
• Portfolio of design projects
• Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 Javascript.
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Be open in receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.
• Team spirit and good communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills

Responsibilities:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with team members and project leaders
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, banners, navigation buttons, call to action buttons
• Design advertising banners and landing pages for marketing communication campaigns
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how site function and look like
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback or user tracking tools like heatmaps
• Adhere to company brand identity (style standards of fonts, colors and images)
• Pro-actively seeks for solutions and come with proposals to improve and optimize
• Optimize existing user interface designs
• Test new ideas before implementing
