Final year student/graduate in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (with programming skills/experience) or Computer Science (with hardware skills/experience) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with Python, Java, bash scripting
Experience with load and stress testing tools and methodologies
Ability learn new ways to stress and prove functionality of our integrated hardware / software solution
Good communications skills
May need to attend frequent meetings outside of standard working hours, to accommodate teams in other time zones.
Good english speaking and writing skills
Investigation and debugging skills

Lenovo Data Center Group is currently seeking a junior QA engineer / software development engineer in test (SDET) for our Lenovo private cloud platform ThinkAgile CP.

This role will participate in driving quality aspects of worldwide private cloud platform to compete with cloud offerings from VMware, Nutanix, Amazon and Microsoft. This individual is an engineer or tester with coding skills who is passionate about software quality. This role provides the opportunity to inject quality throughout the entire development lifecyle, through designing, creating and improving an automated test harness and test suites integrated into our CI/CD process.

This is a software development position in a highly collaborative environment working directly with Development, QA, Operations and Product Management teams across geographies.
