    Requirements

    CORE/CRITICAL COMPETENCIES:

    Advanced ERP sytem knowledge ( ex: SAP, Oracle, BPC etc).

    3+ years of related professional experience in accounting or finance.

    The General ledger senior must be a service minded, self driven and a well organized mind and a good team player. He/she has to lead by example to promote pro-activity, taking initiative and teamwork.

    MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
    3+ years of related professional experience in accounting or finance.
    Advanced ERP sytem knowledge ( ex: SAP, Oracle, BPC etc).
    Office advanced knowledge ( Excel and Word in particular).

    Demonstrates the ability to self-manage with limited supervision and manage multiple initiatives, and meet required deadlines.

    Should have a character to focus on achieving results on time and with high quality. He/she is also expected to demonstrate our ways of working in practice and guided by the principle of our organization’s culture.

    Indirect performance is at least equally important as direct performance, so it must have an excellent social skill.

    Communication is a key factor in tackling problems and creating teamwork.
    Our organization is global and has an international environment, therefore it must have good communication skill and be good in verbal and written English.

    Responsibilities

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Support the team and the direct manager in their day-to-day activities and handles the operational issues in order for the group to be able to deliver the tasks and meet expectations.

    Ensures the day-to-day activities are performed succesfully, timely and accurately to ensure the dead lines are met on department level.
    Escalates issues and complaints to direct manager.

    Ensures that all work instructions are created and are updated according to current work process to ensure the process continuity without any risks.
    Secure all SOX controls are performed according to the SOX description.
    Parks bookings and requests in accordance with company's instructions for authorization.
    Sends to the team coordinator direct manager all postings to ensure they are checked and approved.

    Take part in system & process improvement projects, i.e. to be involved in the development, test and implementation activities plus to carry out improvement demands, to secure system roles and to communicate progress.

    Participates actively to create a pleasant work environment and helps juniors in different situations encountered.
