Junior General Accountant

We are looking for an Junior accountant to perform general accounting transactional operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Junior accountant responsibilities include performing the specific transactions ( FA / Banking / Payroll / Intercompany etc ) for all EMEA sites in scope and reconciling account balances and bank statements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform US and Local GAAP month-end closing activities for the allocated module/transactions
• Ensure all journal entries comply with internal and external audit specifications
• Perform monthly account reconciliations for the allocated accounts, ensuring sufficient and quality back-ups
• Produces routine reports, schedules, and summaries for management
• Support the annual US GAAP / statutory / SOX audits
• May establish, modify, document and co-ordinate implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant

• Motivated self-starter; proactive in identifying issues along with recommending issue resolution
