    Requirements

    Experience
    • At least 5 years relevant working experience in a similar position in an international organization
    • University education in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration
    • Excellent proven track record

    • Good IT skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Problem-solving skills and initiative
    • Fluent in English
    • Ambitious and smart
    • Trustworthy, loyal, able to organize own work and with strong attention to details
    • Good understanding of and experience with international business

    Responsibilities

    You will work together in a multi-disciplinary team in the Bucharest office and you will have frequent contact with your colleagues in other ORTEC offices around the world.

    Overview activities:
    • Responsible for financial management of our 3 legal entities in CEE region (Bucharest, Bergamo and Warsaw)
    • Manage the local financial & administration team and external accountancy/payroll service
    • Prepare monthly management reporting, take appropriate actions, ad hoc financial analyses on request
    • Reporting to Managing Director
    • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
    • Support in formulating strategic and long-term business plans
    • Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance
    • Managing budgets and conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
    • Managing accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
    • Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
    • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts
    • Keeping up to date of changes in financial regulations and legislation
    • Occasional traveling to other ORTEC offices
