This is an external staff position. Your employer will be a third-party supplier, in service for Microsoft.
YOU are an analytical person, passionate about technology. You enjoy taking things apart and building them back together, because understanding and solving technically complex issues is what drives you. You are looking for highly experienced colleagues to help you deepen your technical knowledge. At the same time, you thrive in an international environment by communicating well in English with knowledgeable IT professionals within large corporate customers and by maintaining long-lasting business relationships with them. A second language is a plus.
Depending on your level of seniority, you already know at least two of the following technologies (and wish to learn the others):
• Networking (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP)
• Telecommunications (SIP Trunk, BRI-PRI, PSTN, PBX)
• Digital Certificates Management (PKI – Active Directory Certification Services)
• Database concepts and administration (Microsoft SQL Server or other) • Windows Server concepts and administration (Active Directory, NLB)
Additionally, you are fluent in English and ideally one of the following languages: German / Italian/ French.
Ideally, you might also be familiar with:
• Web Servers (IIS or others)
• Microsoft Skype for Business Server or Office 365 or Microsoft TEAMS or Microsoft Lync Server but if you are not, we will teach you.
You will represent Microsoft in front of the customer and our partners and resolve technical issues involving Microsoft products and services.
Act as a technical focal point in relationships with other companies.
Exhibit leadership through personal responsibility, accountability and teamwork.
Occasionally manage critical situations on technical and relationship level.
Use trace analysis or troubleshooting skills to analyze problems and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, while working with diverse audiences including IT professionals and admins, developers and management.
