    Finance Specialist

    In this role, you will support Romanian and Bulgarian Finance by assuring timely and reliable financial information, in all aspects of day-to-day operations and regular reporting.

    Your key responsibilities:

    • Support local Operations by providing financial reports, presentations and analysis
    • Support preparation of month end closing ensuring timely and accurate input (petty cash analysis, correspondence with landlords, accounting company and operations)
    • Follow-up on missing invoices, payments, overdue balances, reconciling of fixed asset invoices
    • Implement standards of reporting and local procedures with respect to Travel Expense reports, Daily Allowances, Cash advances, Company cards
    • Bug tracking during migration and implementation of new controlling and accounting processes or systems
    • Ensure the operating of new store openings from finance point of view
    • Other ad-hoc projects as required (support fixed assets count, inventory reconciliation, intrastate reporting, etc)
    • Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture of AmRest

     

    Our requirements:

    • University degree in Economics
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting, in Retail or FMCG areas
    • Strong numerical abilities
    • Very good analytical skills; orientation on improving processes
    • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
    • You should possess excellent Excel spreadsheet skills; SAP would be a plus
    • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
    • You must also be able to communicate in English (advanced level)
