    Requirements

    -Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Databases, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences;
    -Previous insurance-related or business analyst work experience is not required, although would be an advantage;
    -Willing to work in an international environment;
    -Willing to study towards the UK actuarial exams. More details can be found here:

    Skills

    -Ability to build strong working relationships;
    -Strong computer skills;
    -Good Microsoft Excel command;
    -VBA knowledge;
    -SQL would be a plus;
    -Self-learner;
    -Ability to work under pressure
    -Ability/willingness to travel abroad if required
    -Programming experience is a plus;
    -Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.

    Responsabilitati

    Job role In the Actuarial Analyst role, you will work as a member of the Actuarial Support Center team within Allianz. The Actuarial Support Center has the largest team of actuaries on the Romanian market: young, motivated and passionate professional that turn the unpredictable into predictable. The Actuarial Support Center has proved its financial expertise in the Allianz world by:

    -Analyzing, optimizing and creating financial models that form the basis of insurance products;
    -Providing thorough analyses of complex data;
    -Performing data analytics for Allianz Group top Analyst – Unify OneFinance P&C Team

    Responsibilities

    In this position, you will have a significant role in Actuarial Support Center P&C team, being involved in activities such as:

    -Involvement in actuarial processes optimizations and transformations for developing solutions for various projects within Allianz operating entities;
    -Delivery of projects towards Allianz operating entities, by assisting in the creation, development and maintenance of actuarial tools;
    -Business analysis for actuarial processes for Allianz operating entities;
    -Taking full ownership in providing to team’s software developer the business specifications in order to create and maintain solutions for various projects within Allianz operating entities;
    -Understanding and manipulating data and tools related to assigned projects (actuarial tools, SQL, MicroStrategy Business Intelligence tool);
    -Keeping clear documentation on the operations performed;Applying actuarial best practices and guidelines;
    -Successfully collaborating with multiple departments within Allianz operating entities.
