- Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology
- Fair knowledge of System Administration:
Computer Systems Architecture
Operating Systems: Users/Security, Processes/Applications,
Networking: TCP/IP, Client/Server concepts and applications, higher level
Storage: architecture/concepts, protection, performance
- Basic database concepts and administration:
installation, minimal configuration
transactional concept, logging
- Good knowledge/ experience with some commercial Business Application(s)
concepts and administration:
planning and designing
administration: configuration, users, security, performance
support for end users
lifecycle: patching, updating, upgrading, migration, reconfiguration
- At least 3 years of experience in Database and/or Business Application
- English: Fluent/Very good
- Will be a plus:
SAP Business Objects/ Business Intelligence knowledge or experience
SAP BW/ NetWeaver knowledge/ experience
SAP Basis knowledge/ experience
Any SAP application/ database experience
Experience with any Business Intelligence/ Analytics applications/solutions
Good knowledge and experience with Database Systems, like MS SQL, IBM
DB/2, Oracle, Sybase, HANA
Good knowledge and experience in Systems, Storage, Infrastructure and
Networking Management and Administration

As a member of the CSB team, the SAP Basis Consultant will participate in SAP new/roll-out implementation projects and SAP support for existing client’s landscapes, with main responsibilities:
Analysis of new environment / business technical requirements and design
the appropriate systems and technical infrastructure.
Installation and technical configuration of new systems, including operating
systems, databases and SAP Applications.
Updating/ Upgrading and migrations of systems.
Testing of functionality and performance.
Documentation of implemented solutions.
Integration with SAP Solution Manager.
Technical support in SAP Basis/ Administration area: monitoring of installed
systems, pro-active actions, incident based support.
Communication and work closely with technical decision makers and end
