Web /Full Stack JavaScript Developer

As a provider of internal IT services for METRO GROUP, METRO SYSTEMS Romania provides specialized consulting to retail companies in all aspects of IT, develops specific solutions along the full value chain and provides a powerful IT infrastructure with a team of over 900 IT professionals.

University degree in information technology or comparable education
Ability to communicate and collaborate efficiently
High interest in continuous learning and development (new tools, technologies, methodologies)
Self-motivation to achieve consistently high quality results
Ability to think out of the box and challenge the status quo
Openness to share knowledge and best practices with the team
Ability to use simplicity in complex projects
Good command of English, both spoken and written

Solid understanding of JavaScript and ES6
Experience building frontend applications using React.JS, Redux (or similar), HTML, CSS
Backend JavaScript development using Node.JS
Working experience with some of the tools: Webpack, Gulp, Grunt, Git, JUnit, Mokito, JMeter
Familiar with the standard software design patterns, web application and web services architectures, RESTful APIs
Basic knowledge and high interest for microservices technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, ELK Stack

The ideal candidate will be as passionate about front end coding as well as back end coding and be familiar with the latest technical trends in modern web development.



Highly appreciated:

Unit testing experience (automated would be a plus)
