    Team Leader Regulatory and Reporting – FINREP

    Your Mission

    As a Regulatory and Reporting Team Leader you will supervise the production of regulatory reports on a a solo basis per entity or on consolidated basis for Societe Generale Group on subjects such as financial reporting on quarterly and monthly basis (FINREP, Balance Sheet Statement, Security-by-Security reporting, valuation effects and other statistical/supervision reporting).


    Your Role in a Nutshell

    • Regulatory reporting follow-up in order to rationalize regulatory reporting production throughout the group;

    • Continuous improvement of the activities: participate to the implementation of regulatory needs directly in link with Change The Bank project teams (both in Paris and on Bucharest side) or operational teams (both in central and local side) on different regulatory reporting;

    • Take in charge clients & partners requests (including auditors) according to supervisor’s guidelines;

    • Team management: 1 to 1 meetings, talent and engagement management of the team;

    • Define staff objectives and conduct appraisals and regular feedback;

    • Participate to solve the teams issues and raise alerts to the Management if any alert;

    • Animate and follow action plan implementations; perform operational controls on production;

    • Ensure standards, KPIs and KRI dashboard are set and produced;

    • Propose action plans to improve performance or remediate issues;

    • Be an Agent of Transformation: Improve and simplify processes across the team and share best practices with collaterals, propose his help to solve the issues (eg: technical skills, resources).


      A little about You

    • 5 to 7 years of experience as a senior in regulatory reporting area, risk management, financial services/banking, or consulting field or 5 to 7 years project management experience;

    • Following reporting knowledge or minimal experience in: FINREP is a mandatory expertise;

    • At least 3 years management experience; project/change management skills nice to have;

    • Team management skills (eg: motivation, performance);

    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;

    • Strong academic background in Business, Economics or Finance;

    • Fluent in English, French would be considered a plus.
