Logistics Operations Specialist

- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, or similar operations management areas
- Fluent Romanian & English
- Minimum 2 years’ experience on a similar position: in market/ supply, operations planning, logistic operations management
- Inventory management
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to lead and facilitate effective meetings, with a mix of functions and management levels
- Preferable that the jobholder has working knowledge of the local trade environment (customer base).
- Systems knowledge: advanced skills using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, experience using Navision / 1NAV is preferable, as well as experience of using office productivity software (such as Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
- LEAN concept, and tools, in particular: continuous improvement idea, 7 wastes, value stream mapping

- Supports Romania’s Distribution Logistic Network activities in order to provide agreed customers’ requirements
- Checks the logistics services in terms of quality and quantity prior to payment
- Continuously improves logistic processes (Warehousing & Transport) in terms of efficiency and cost
- Supports regular inventory reconciliation process between the transactional and Warehouse Management System
- Manages Romania’s Logistic KPI dashboard & other reporting tasks
- Manages products master data, together with the Planning Specialist in the unit
- Supports products lifting in terms of daily coordination and communication to the local unit, together with the Planning Specialist
- Supports Demand/ Supply process (Forecast, follow up, master data, etc.) according to the processes in place within Romania/Cluster.
- Controls inventory in line with the agreed stock policy and financial objectives and coordinates regular stock taking
- Works closely with the Demand and Distribution Specialist and LSP team for stock management, systems and database related actions that might need his/her expertise
- Works closely with the Planning Specialist for all daily tasks and replaces him/her during vacation or temporary leave
