On behalf of our client, a global Business Process Management (BPM) leader we are looking for an enthusiastic Procurement Officer with French.
Our client offers business value to 300+ clients around the world by combining operational excellence with deep domain expertise in key industry verticals, including banking and financial services, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, retail and consumer goods, shipping and logistics.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Experience in Procurement
- Medium/Advanced level of French
- Medium/Advanced level of English
- Proactive in solving day to day issues
- Ability to pick up new tasks quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Validate Purchase Requests according to the Purchasing Strategy for the supported sites/countries within the agreed Service Level
- Amend and change purchase orders with relevant approval as necessary;
- Deliver Purchase Orders to suppliers
- Initiate supplier set up and changes on existing suppliers with relevant approval
- Maintain a strong communication with suppliers
- Create Request for Quote (RFQ) and work with suppliers for timely response to quote requests
- Track daily workload according to the working procedure
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with indirect procurement policy and strategy
- Provide regular reporting on purchasing activities as required by management
