Mechanical Design Engineer for Vision/Night Vision Systems

Required hard skills:

Catia V5 3D modelling and mechanical drawings capabilities;
Knowhow within material science;
Mechanical design of details in aluminum, plastic and sheetmetal;
Good GD&T/Tolerance analysis knowledge;
Mechanical design with respect to EMC-performance;
DFM/design for manufacturing knowledge;
Thermal management knowledge;
FEA-analysis knowledge.
Optics knowledge is a plus.

In this role you will be responsible for the design of camera systems and ECUs. You will have many contact areas, both internally and externally, with international clients and suppliers, as well as colleagues in other departments. You will be part of a tight team where everyone is involved in the daily work and jointly conducts ongoing projects.

Your tasks will include design of enclosures of electronics and camera systems for car applications, requirements management, supplier contacts, and driving in further development of methodology and processes within the mechanical department
