Network Administrator

ALTEN Romania, part of the international ALTEN Group - with a unique position as Leader in IT & Engineering Consulting, provides support for its clients’ development strategies in the fields of innovation, R&D and IT systems since 1996. The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

Technical Requirements:
• Industry-related experience as a Network Administrator
• Experience with Firewall, Email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), DNS Server
• Background in network administration and architecture
• Familiarity with access control models and network security
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools
• Experience with network operating systems (Cisco IOS)

As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for:
• Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices
• Monitor network performance and integrity
• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
• Create, oversee and test security measures (access authentication and disaster recovery)
• Communicate with users when needed

Other Requirements (Competencies):
• Studies: BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Good English language skills (both writing and speaking)
• Work well in teams and yet being able to work independently and self-propelled
